Under the Mtn. Martial Arts is the first offering of a full line-up of martial arts and various styles of fighting for the Moapa Valley, NV area located just about 62 miles northeast of Las Vegas, NV.

UMMA offers classes for all different interests in martial arts and mixed martial arts.

• The adult's and kid's martial arts classes are for a full study course within American Kenpo Karate developed by the Father of American Karate, Ed Parker, Sr. This involves a progression of belt ranks as well as competition, events and more. Though the main course of martial arts study is American Kenpo, there will be some studies and learning of such styles of Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiujitsu and other styles to lesser degrees.

• The women's self-defense classes are designed for women 14+. This class not only focuses on learning techniques and physical skills of self-defense but also helps educate on the laws and policies regarding sexual assault, self-defense as well as debunking the myths and highlighting the truths of such topics as rape and self-defense.

• The MMA class will focus on mixed martial arts training and skill-building. It will focus on learning MMA for self-defense, competition and more. This will focus on studying multiple styles of martial arts to build up skills in the stand-up fighting game, mat game, grappling, ground and pound and more.
